Comedy Village, the Hell's Kitchen comedy club founded by comedian PJ Landers, will host a series of shows during the 2026 New York Comedy Festival, scheduled for November 6-15 across New York City. The venue's participation, now in its third year, underscores its growing role in the festival and its commitment to showcasing both established and emerging comedic talent.
The lineup includes the Sweet & Sour Chicks Comedy Tour with Kiki Yeung and Esther Ku on Sunday, November 8 at 7:00 PM; Late for School Starring Jimmy Cash on Tuesday, November 10 at 7:00 PM; Samuel Orson on Wednesday, November 11 at 7:00 PM; the Headliner Series with Lance Weiss on Wednesday, November 11 at 7:00 PM; Billie Lee on Thursday, November 12 at 7:00 PM; and Paige Gallagher on Thursday, November 12 at 9:30 PM. Additional shows may be announced, and the schedule is subject to change.
Landers praised the festival's founder, Caroline Hirsch, for building what has become the largest and longest-running annual comedy festival in the United States. "New York City is the greatest comedy city in the world, and Caroline Hirsch has played an enormous role in making it that way," Landers said. "We're proud to join the festival for a third year, showcasing the brightest talent on Comedy Village stages this November."
The club's two-story venue near Times Square features two distinct showrooms, offering an intimate setting for audiences to experience stand-up up close. With two shows nightly, seven days a week, Comedy Village has become a destination for locals, tourists, and comedy enthusiasts worldwide. Its original Greenwich Village location hosted comedy greats such as Dave Attell, Bill Burr, and Dave Chappelle early in their careers, and the 2024 move to Hell's Kitchen brought that legacy to one of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods.
The festival, founded in 2004 by Hirsch and produced by Carolines, brings together major names, emerging talent, and fans for 10 days of performances at venues across the city. The announcement highlights Comedy Village's continued expansion and its role in supporting the festival's mission to celebrate New York's place as the home of stand-up comedy. For media inquiries, contact PJ Landers via Email Contact.
